Flora del Cueto’s Jalapeno Bean Dip

Ingredients:

1 can refried beans with green chilies.

1 package shredded cheese (jalapeno/jack)

1 small jar medium hot salsa.

Cumin to taste

Hot Sauce to taste

1 tsp. honey

Chili powder to taste

1 tsp. brown sugar

Tabasco to taste

Instructions:

Place contents of refried beans in a sauce pan;

Medium heat, stir until smooth.  Add the jar of salsa, stir.

Add the other ingredients;

Fold in the shredded cheese slowly as it melts, continue stirring, and lower the heat when it begins to bubble.

Serve with your favorite tortilla chips, you can serve sour cream on the side. (Show #111)
